There are lots of different types of information management tools that can help students, teachers, schools and districts to navigate competency-based systems. Here are a few of the different products that are trying to solve some of the issues schools face or support new functions and techniques in competency-based schools. Remember these product are not comparable -- they do not have the same functionality.
Summit's platform has been developed to be able to be used by schools not using their specific model
Empower - used by Lindsay Unified High School.
Slate - Building 21 and Matchbook Learning under the name Spark (see article 8/15)
Project Foundry (Often used by project-based learning schools)
